Mural located in the alley between 1st and 2nd on the block between Coal and Aztec (105 W Coal Ave.) Gallup artist Chris Acevedo utilized the architecture of the former Gallup Printing building to create four scenes depicting each season within a landscape of Gallup's natural features. Growth symbolizes our strength to get through rough times together as a community and to celebrate the diversity of our town. Click here to view a video of Chris talking more about the project.
This project was organized by Gallup MainStreet Arts & Cultural District, with special thanks to and help from: Galluparts, Spencer Jones, and Chris's family who helped him paint. Funded by New Mexico Resiliency Alliance Resilient Communities Grant.
